Live Light Decluttering – Terms and Conditions
- Services Provided: Live Light Decluttering offers professional decluttering services, including assistance with organising, sorting, and advice regarding removal of unwanted items as agreed upon with the client. Services are offered both in-person and virtually.
- Item Removal:
- Live Light Decluttering can advise how to remove unwanted items, including taking a car load to charity.
- Clients are responsible for identifying items for removal and for making decisions regarding their disposal.
- Project Duration:
- The duration of a decluttering project depends on the size of the space and the client’s pace to work through their space.
- Session timings and pace will be arranged to suit both the client and the consultant as much as reasonably possible.
- Session Availability:
- Sessions are available on weekdays and weekends. Virtual sessions include evenings.
- Availability will be coordinated to accommodate both the client’s and the consultant’s schedules as much as reasonably possible.
- Payment Terms:
- Payments can be made via bank transfer or cash.
- Payment may be required upfront or on the day of the session, as agreed upon during booking.
- Cancellations:
- Clients are asked to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
- If Live Light Decluttering needs to cancel, the client will be given as much notice as possible, and a rescheduled session will be offered.
- Liability:
- While every care will be taken, Live Light Decluttering cannot accept responsibility for accidental damage or loss of items during the decluttering process.
- Confidentiality:
- Client information, personal details, and belongings will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and respect.
- Travel Fees:
- Travel within a 15-mile radius is included. Additional mileage may incur a travel fee, which will be agreed upon in advance.
- Insurance and Safety:
- Live Light Decluttering holds appropriate insurance to cover the services provided.
- Please notify of any specific health and safety considerations in your home before a session.
- For personal safety, the consultant will ensure that a trusted contact is aware of their working location and schedule for each in-person session.
- Scope of Services:
- Services do not include the removal of hazardous waste, deep cleaning, or heavy lifting requiring more than one person. Any exclusions will be clarified prior to the session.
- Services are only provided to the legal owner of the items being decluttered. Live Light Decluttering does not offer services to organise or remove items on behalf of third parties without the direct involvement and permission of the item owner.
- Client Responsibility:
- The client is responsible for making all decisions regarding the decluttering process. Live Light Decluttering provides guidance and advice, but the final decisions and responsibility for all actions taken rest with the client.
- Refund Policy:
- Refunds are not generally offered, but will be considered in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Live Light Decluttering.
- Virtual Services:
- Virtual decluttering sessions are conducted via video call platforms.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and suitable device.
- The same standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and support apply to virtual sessions as to in-person sessions.
